Old St. Martin's Church was the original Anglican Church in Northern Worcester County, Maryland. It was built in the 18th Century. It fell into disrepair, and a seperate Corporation was set up for its restoration. Restoration has been completed.
On three occasions this past summer, the Rectors of St. Paul's, Worcester Parish in Berlin, St. Paul's By-The-Sea in Ocean City, and Church of the Holy Spirit in Northern Ocean City, celebrated the Holy Eucharist in accordance with the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. This is the Prayer Book that would have been used at the time that St. Martin's was built. St. Martin's is located just near Routes 113 and 589. Future events will be posted here.
